PostHeaderIcon Why does my direct tv picture freeze/break up for a little while when I turn on appliances?

The picture will freeze and break up, but only when I turn on things like AC, microwave or washing machine.

Older house? Sounds like your TV suffers from the momentary electric surge created amp-heavy devices first start up. Such a current surge causes a momentary drop in voltage to other devices such as your TV. If that’s the case, you’ll notice the same thing with your room lights dimming momentarily at the same time.

I own a kitchenaid superba fridge with wood panels on the front to match the cabinets. It has white trim (Handles, water dispenser) and i recently got new stainless steal Appliances except for my fridge. it is only 2 years old so i would rather not buy a new one. Is it possible to order stainless steal trim for the fridge so i can change out the white?

You have 2 options contact Kitchen aid http://www.kitchenaid.com/flash.cmd?/#/page/customer-service-contact/

Or have a local tradesman cut the panels…The wood panels are attached with a trim kit…they would just need to match the sizes. Then use the existing trim kit and possibly repaint it.
