Why is the inside of my Frigidaire upright freezer rusting?
I purchased a Frigidaire ‘Professional Series’ side-by-side fridge just about a year ago. The inside of the freezer side (towards the back, near where the ice maker connects) looks to be rusting. I think that it’s a little too early in the appliance’s life to already be showing signs of rust – especially on the inside! Is this at all normal or do I need to bother myself with calling Frigidaire?
Pictures of the rust can be found at:

Thanks!
I have fix Appliances for 25y the panels inside are made of aluminum and painted they will not rust. All liners now are made of plastic sounds like something spilled or spray it this area, try cleaning it off.
Why do some gas appliances need a flue and others dont?
Some Appliances like cookers can be used without a flue, but many boilers and fires need a flue and create poisonous fumes. Its all gas so what’s the difference?
most of the ones with a flue are enclosed so they need a way for the gases to escape. Open flames like on cooktops etc have plenty of ventilation to prevent dangerous gas build up.
Are there any members of Direct Buy that can tell me if it is a good thing or something to stay away from?
Membership is $3900.00 for two years and then $188.00 per year and nearly most things can be bought at the manufacturers cost; flooring, Appliances, jewerly, paint, rugs, etc.
It’s a scam. The only way it could possibly be worth it would be if you were building a new house and needed 100k+ in merchandise and even then you won’t save a tremendous amount. Direct Buy’s return policy is…well they don’t have one, all sales are final. Their “shipping” costs are suspect as well. Don’t expect any support, they will refer you to the manufacturer for everything. They don’t deliver (or so I’ve heard), you have to pickup and install everything on your own dime. Honestly you can do better with sale prices from more conventional stores
