How much do you tip for large appliance delivery?
Two delivery men from Home Depot will be delivering and installing a 260 pound refrigerator to my NYC apartment, and removing the old one. I’m in a fifth floor walk up apartment (no elevator), and though all the searches I’ve found on delivery tipping says to tip each of them $20, that seems a little low for four flights of stairs. Any thoughts/better ideas?
We don’t tip deliveries. They get paid per job, per hour.
