Appliances for the Home at Discount Prices

I have Microwave oven and UPS which are specified to use with 50Hz power supply. can I use these Appliances at 60 Hz power supply? What will be the effect?

You can but, the life expectancy would be shortened by quite a bit. You are throwing 10 extra hertz at it, which means that you will be slowly cooking it. I am sure that the UPS will go faster than the microwave because of all the small electricronic components
