Should I get a toaster oven when I already have a full-size oven.?
My popup toaster broke and I’m thinking about replacing it with a toaster oven. I already have a full size electric oven, is there any good reason to get a toaster oven, other than the convenience of using a smaller appliance?

Some big ovens toast, others dont…. I have both because my oven only bakes not toasts… Its up to you really? It is a conviniance though….

Yes. it uses less energy then a full size oven and wont heat up the whole house when you use it. I love mine.. I like to make french fies in mine!

Why turn on the big oven for one quick meal when you can just use your toaster oven. It does more then toast bread it also bakes

My husband especially likes the toaster oven for heating up sandwiches or certain leftovers he doesn’t want to microwave. I should use it more. It’s nice when the weather is warm. Bagels or big bread slices are easier to toast.

If you have the counter space or a good place to store it, I’d say go for it. They really do have a lot of advantages as the previous answers have pointed out.

If you are only going to use it as a toaster, just buy a new toaster. The electrical usage is very high. They have their good points but I put mine in storage when I got my full sized oven hooked up. My electric bill dropped a lot. I had used a toaster oven for 6 months.
