If you are only going to use it as a toaster, just buy a new toaster. The electrical usage is very high. They have their good points but I put mine in storage when I got my full sized oven hooked up. My electric bill dropped a lot. I had used a toaster oven for 6 months.
References :
If you have the counter space or a good place to store it, I'd say go for it. They really do have a lot of advantages as the previous answers have pointed out.
References :
My husband especially likes the toaster oven for heating up sandwiches or certain leftovers he doesn't want to microwave. I should use it more. It's nice when the weather is warm. Bagels or big bread slices are easier to toast.
References :
Is your preference

Its all about the convenience--- I love my toaster oven

Why turn on the big oven for one quick meal when you can just use your toaster oven. It does more then toast bread it also bakes :)
