What are pros and cons of refrigerators with freezer on top vs. bottom?

Some refrigerators have the freezer on top, and some have the freezer on the bottom. What are the advantages/disadvantages of each? Please include factors such as cost of the appliance, energy usage, and anything else important.

as cold air settles, it is cheaper to run a freezer on the bottom. Ones on the bottom usually have a basket which rolls out and makes it easier to find things and fill the freezer. You also will find it easier to load the frig as the bottom shelf will be three feet off the ground. Don’t know any negatives about bottom freezers.

How much do you tip for large appliance delivery?

Ours has the freezer on the bottom. It is more natural, cold air goes down without a fan, The refrigerator gets used more often, so the stuff is at eye level. It seems dumb to have to bend over to see inside the refrigerator. Bottom freezer units are more energy eficient. This may be due to the brand. (Amana. the best)

One of the biggest pros that I have found with a bottom freezer, it brings the fridge portion up and makes it easier to find the things that usually end up in the back bottom for a thousand years.

Yes I agree, you have easier access and it is moore efficient, the real dilemma is bottom drawer or door ? door makes it easier to see whats inside, some drawers make harder when everything is on top of each other.
