Viking, Wolfe, Dacor, and Sub Zero are the top of the line but you won’t get all those appliances for that price in any of those lines. So choose your priorities and then look at the top of the line in something like GE Profile with their Monogram line. I am into cooking and have used the top GE Profile lines to great satisfaction. The Monogram line is perfect for my use. For my double ovens I did a convection lower and the top a microwave/convection. My dishwasher is a flat front with bar and hiddem controls and totally stainless interior. My fridge has all the bells and whistles including a LCD screen which controls all my special features like quick chill and quick freeze etc. My only wish was for larger and more burners on my cooktop but that is easy to replace. We have built three new homes in 15 years and have had to deal with the choices offered by the builders and our budget which for the most part have been upper end. So look at your priorities and work down from there. If you choose an expensive stove, your budget for the other appliances at $16,000 will dramatically drop. I would try to go across the board with the best within your budget. The GE Monogram series offers a lot of bang for your buck and quality.
