What appliances can and cannot work with a 60 watt universal adapter?

I'm about to buy a step up/ down voltage adapter that would convert 110 V- 220 V/ 220 V- 110 V. It's a 60 watt adapter. Wonder what Appliances can and cannot work with that?

Thanks

You need to check the label on each appliance to see how many WATTS it pulls. You need to keep the watts at 60 or less.

Example, a 1400 watt hair dryer would NOT work.
A lamp with a 100 watt bulb would NOT work.

Exceeding the watt requirement can damage the adapter and possible cause a fire. You might also damage the appliance.

    Small TV
    Radio/CD Player
A laptop during charge cycle (most don't require an adapter though)
    Battery chargers
    Electric Shaver
    VCR
