PostHeaderIcon What to do about the burn smell that heat styling appliances leave in your hair?

Hello all. For anyone who’s ever used heat styling appliances such as curling irons, wave irons or flat irons, you know that there is often times a smell these Appliances leave in your hair. Like a burn smell. Anyway, I was wondering what I could use to eliminate this smell from my hair once I’m done styling it. I’d prefer something natural, but all suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.
All of you are saying, "heat protective spray"…any suggestions?

My wife use some kind of lotion stuff before the heat. I smell good and no burn on hair.

What brands should i stick to when buying home appliances?

You may need to turn down the heat of your iron. You also need to be using a heat protection spray.

make sure your hair is totally dry and use a heat spray… clean your appliance because if you have ever used any product or if anything is stuck on the appliance every time you turn on the burning smell will come back because of the heat.. hope this helped oh just use a damp cloth to clean them.. its like if u have something stuck on the cooker hob from b4 and you stick it on it will start to burn again.. don’t use any hairspray or any product until you have finished that’s whats burning. xx
