when buying appliances is it ok to negotiate?

I am buying Appliances from either the Brick or Future Shop(in Canada) I have asked for quotes from both. Is it okay to negotiate better prices or is what they tell me the final sticker price. Does it help when I’m buying all of one Brand?(LG) Also does anyone have an opinion on which company has the better warrany? any other information about these 2 companies or appliances would be a help!

You should always negotiate on prices on anything.

By all means haggle! If they won’t come down on the price, ask about free delivery and setup if that’s not included, or an extended warranty – free. BUT always get everything IN WRITING AND SIGNED!
