PostHeaderIcon Frigidaire front load washer troubles.?

I have a customer with a Kenmore (frigidaire) front load washer. Model # 970C4206200.
My issue is that the machine wont spin, it rotates the clothes one way and then the next but will not spin. I have replaced the motor, motor control, speed switch and door locking mechanism all with used parts from my shop which i know are good because they came out of a machine with bearing issues. The timer is a rebuilt timer. It still will not go into the high speed or medium speed spins. I am an appliance tech so please no answers like "take it to an appliance shop" that kind of BS. If you don’t know, don’t answer.
There is no warranty and the pump is clear and draining water. The motor also does turn properly with the belt removed.

Dont you just love working on the front loaders? Usually when that motor control goes out, it wont even rotate. same with the lock. My first answer would have been the pump, but I just saw that you said it was working, and that the motor will spin without the belt. Let me think about it a minute since I know whirlpool wont give tech support without a servicer ID number.

PostHeaderIcon Anyone actually happy w/ their newer Frigidaire appliances?

Our stove went & we were going to just get a new range, but Best Buy has a 4 piece stainless steel look (silver mist) set (fridge, over the range microwave, gas range, & dishwasher) on sale right now…but the reviews I’ve seen for Frigidaire are overall not that great…we have a Frigidaire washer & a chest freezer by them that we have had no problems w/ whatsoever, but I’ve never dealt w/ their kitchen Appliances.

We bought our Frigidaire refrigerator and have had nothing but trouble out of it, the shelves in the door have broken twice, the baskets in the freezer had to be adjusted because when it finally got down to freezing temps they all constricted and fell to the bottom, also the ice maker/water filter has broken twice and I’ve just had this thing since October!!
