2/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 to 4 tablespoons half-and-half or milk

I like this recipe better than the Cake Mix Doctor recipe as it yields enough to cover a 2-layer cake evenly. Hope this helps!
